Location: Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam • Territory – Whole AP state.
Position: Service Engineer – Industrial • Products: Packaging Machineries. •
Target Customers: All installations at various Manufacturing Industries including Pharma, Engineering, Ecommerce, Textile, Food, Durables, Steel, Port, Navy etc. etc.
Overview:
As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of technical systems or equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal functionality and client satisfaction. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: 1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on assigned equipment or systems according to established schedules and procedures. 2. Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues with equipment performance or functionality. 3. Troubleshooting: Investigate equipment malfunctions or technical problems reported by clients, and determine the root cause of the issue. 4. Repair: Conduct repairs on faulty equipment, replace defective parts, and perform necessary adjustments to restore proper functionality. 5. Calibration: Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and precision in operation, following manufacturer guidelines and specifications. 6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent, utilizing digital or paper-based systems as required. 7. Customer Support: Provide technical support and guidance to clients, answering inquiries, offering solutions to problems, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. 8. Training: Provide training to clients or end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment, as needed. 9. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance or repair tasks, ensuring personal safety and the safety of others. 10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and best practices in the field, and actively seek opportunities to improve service efficiency and effectiveness. 11. Promote spares and to convert machines under AMC . Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree/ITI or equivalent technical qualification in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical or a related field. • Proven experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or technical support role. • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues. • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and software applications relevant to the job. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in workmanship. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team. • Willingness to travel to client sites as required and work flexible hours when necessary.
